The Galesburg, Illinois, Police Department has shared dash cam video of a close call with a semi truck to try to persuade drivers to move over for emergency vehicles.

The incident was caught on camera on Thursday, February 18, on I-74 in Galesburg.

“This is why it is important to slow down and move over when you see emergency vehicles on the roadway … Pay attention to the squad car on the far side of the interstate.This case is being reviewed by the Illinois State Police for possible charges,” police said.
