The young man, who decided to arrange a race outside the marked route near Krasnaya Polyana, fell into a hole with water at the bottom.

As a result of the fall, the skier broke both arms and leg, and one of the fractures was open. He had no chance to get out of the trap on his own, but, fortunately, numerous eyewitnesses came to his aid.

People pulled out the victim and called rescuers. Before their arrival, the witnesses of the emergency tried to warm up the drenched and frozen skier.
